Hi,

I am a 56 year old woman who is a general and special education teacher who resides in Manhattan. I enjoy working out, strength training, aerobics and walking long distances. I take care of my physical health as well as my mental health. Dancing is an activity that I haven’t done in quite a while as a couple, however, whenever/wherever there’s music, a I am not shy not to dance alone if the spirit moves me. My music: rock, jazz and world music. I am a very funny woman. I have a great sense of humor, sometimes cerebral, off-color, silly, sarcastic, whatever. I love to laugh. It’s nice when you have a person who has the same sense of humor that you have or is quick enough to pick up on it. Some of my humor is corny. Whose humor isn’t corny, now and then? The television that I watch is animation, drama, some competition shows, but never any “Wives of Crap” shows or any group home shows filled with people born during the invention of the cell phone or later. Since I have spent many years in colleges reading books for information, the books I like to read are biographies, female eroticism, and human interest. I enjoy classic films with actors like, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, the “Nick and Nora” series, Anna Magnani, etc. Contemporary films and independent films also interest me. I am not a Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston or Gwyneth Paltrow fan. The theatre is the ultimate entertainment. Musicals, drama, it doesn’t matter, it’s Broadway!

I believe in God and Jesus Christ. I do not attend church every Sunday, but I do not mind visiting a church and making up my mind if I want to continue attending. (Did a lot of church during my youth, thank you.) The man I would like to date and eventually want to spend the rest of my life with, should be of like mind. I am not changing you and you’re not changing me. If you are a professional man, has a college education, a good sense of humor and enjoys some of the things that I mentioned above, I would like to hear from you. My idea of fun is laughing. So I need a man with a great sense of humor. I love watching movies, going dancing. I love to talk with my man. I like to discuss different things. I have wide range of interests. I love doing things like walking, exercise, going to concerts. All of these things are my ideas of having fun.
