I learned to walk again, step by painstaking step, each one a testament to my commitment not just to survive, but to thrive.
In leadership, one must make tough decisions, show courage under fire, and always, always move forward, no matter the personal cost. These are the principles I embraced in combat and which I now bring into every aspect of my life, including in building a relationship.
My kind of love is a steady flame, unwavering and ever bright. It is fueled by these experiences, by the hard-won wisdom that the challenges we face do not define us; rather, it is how we respond to them. With the right woman, I wish to continue applying this lesson, to lead a relationship with the same conviction and fearless heart with which I faced my battles.
