My Goal In Life Is

Right now my most immediate goal is to finish college. I am currently studying to get a bachelors in SPED (Special Education). After that well start looking for a full-time teaching job either here in New Mexico or in my native state of California. Another goal is to one day attend a seminary. I have taken several online classes already in the past but I would like to pursue it even more. I have found that studying the word deeply awakens a deeper affection and knowledge of God. Although this it is not an end in itself, studying theology is the means for greater worship and obedience. Like Paul said to the Corinthians and all Christians who followed "And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge...but do not have love, I am nothing..." (1 Corinthians 13:2). Without my goal being to love others as myself than its just a bunch of head knowledge. Another personal goal and the reason I am here on this website is to find a wife. As God clearly said in the book of Genesis "It is not good for the man to be alone..." (Genesis 2:18a). Because I'm pretty sure I don't have the gift of celibacy as the apostle Paul did (1 Corinthians 7:7). ;-)
