I Would Describe Myself As

I am an educated woman who loves romance. I sometimes think I was born in the wrong era. I am a medical assistant in nursing school to get my second degree, also working on becoming a Certified Doula. Although, I am independent and self-sufficient, I still desire a Sir Galahad (nerd alert. I raised 3 children (twin girls, one boy) as a single mom. All 3 are good people and they are very protective of me. That being said, you would most likely at some point be checked out by them, LBVS. I love my extended family and we are close. So at any given time, there are teenagers in my house eating my food and asking me questions. I am a Christian, non-negotiable. However, I am not a zealot and I am not a prude. Neither am I a "Mad Black Woman", whatever that means...I embrace my culture but I love others as well. It shows in my cooking and my ability to relate to my patients. I read a lot because I am forever learning and I am passionate about learning. I love medical dramas, paranormal movies, i.e. Harry Potter, etc., walking with no particular place to go, hiking, nature, holding hands, PDA within reason. I am a former athlete and dancer and I love sports. I was on the swim team, track, softball, basketball, and I would have played football if they had a women's team when I was younger, lol. I love to dance, so hopefully you do too or are at least willing to learn or humor me. Please have an open mind. Knowledge and acceptance of others is what makes up the very best version of ourselves. I have never been married, I've had proposals, but none ever felt "right". I know he's out there. Hopefully it's you.
