I Would Describe Myself As

I am a technical support engineer (yes, a computer geek). I am complex, but not complicated. I am left handed. I like thunder storms. I do like to BBQ with good friends (I'm very good at it, as well as a good cook). I like science fiction books/movies and I am an avid player of online RPG's/MMO's. I am very private and 'somewhat' reclusive, but do like certain events. I am always seeking to improve my technical skills. I like the UFC, and I am a big wrestling fan, but I do not like traditional sports much. I consider myself a very liberal, alternative thinker. I am somewhat timid when I first meet someone, but I am very secure in whom I am as a person, and my word is very important to me! I am a realistic thinker but have a very robust imagination! I believe in the virtues of integrity and honor (which goes hand in hand with keeping my word) and live by my principals even when 'there's no one around to see'. I steer clear of 'catch phrases' and clichés unless it's absolutely unavoidable. My musical tastes are quite extreme, in the genre of heavy/thrash metal and alternative... Some of my movie favorites: Terminator, Predator I-II, Stone Cold, Nightmare on Elm Street, Aliens, Star Wars Trilogy, Lord of the Rings, Ninja Scroll... I like many forms of Anime as well. I enjoy Renaissance festivals, art festivals, science/technology museums and exhibits, laser light shows, and the -occasional- concert. I like to rent/download movies and watch them at home even more. I like to keep things fairly tidy, and prefer large open living spaces to clutter. Once in a while I like to find small towns in the middle of nowhere, and then drive to them to see what oddities I find... I also enjoy a good, long game of chess. I like a girl who can be strong, but very feminine (I like very high heels, and want a girl I can buy lots of very sexy things to wear for me-both in public and private-and things like VERY HIGH heels, leather, latex and the like are definitely on the list!)
I want someone who is ready to let their past go, including the 'anger' I see in so many profiles...we've all been burned--guys and girls both--learn from the past but don't hold up in front of the next person and make assumptions because of what someone else did! Be ready to embrace the possibilites unhindered by excessive baggage and angst! It's great to learn from the past, but then leave it behind and look to the future...

A very 'outside the box' mentality. Someone who doesn't believe in whats 'popular'. I prefer black women, and have since I was in elementary school, so it's not a casual 'fad' or anything I do to be 'politically correct'. I want someone who is futuristic and innovative, and who is truly unlike others. Please keep the baggage to a mininum (one carry on luggage at most please)...I prefer someone who is articulate and can speak/write proper english, who is ready to embrace a different way of living and thinking!
