Odd to summarize myself. I'm changing everyday with each and every experience whether disappointment or triumph. There are many things I enjoy doing - I like making bead and wire jewelry, soap making, wildcrafting, gardening, reading, martial arts, mindfulness - I am learning that I like *learning*.

I've decided that every so often I need to go against the grain and try something new. So over the past ten years, I have become a different person. I laugh more, I see more, I want more. My world is a much bigger place and I abide in a state of anticipation for what's around the corner. At the same time I practice stillness to rest and renew.

I enjoy being outside. its how I rest, renew, and connect with something larger than myself: my church if you will. Hiking is fun in any season but best when everything is awake and thriving and green. Camping in the middle of nowhere is a soothing balm that I must have at least twice a year bears be damned (bears scare me - :D). I love the sound of the wind through the trees and the feel of sunlight on my skin. I like walking barefoot through my garden and feeling the earth squish under my toes. I like sticking flowers in my hair and singing or huming outloud.
