I am active, fun, witty, and 58 yrs young with no plans to simply occupy a rocker. Faith, friends, family, and focus on a fit lifestyle are of great importance and essential to my health, happiness, and young state of mind. Laughter on a daily basis is a must. My favorite quote: "An ounce of pretension is worth a pound of manure." I believe that is succint enough and requires no explanation. I am passionate about music, love a good movie and almost any type of live entertainment. Favorite foods include Mediterranean and Italian with a nice red wine. I have a great love for animals and the outdoors and love long walks and drives to nowhere with that special someone. I enjoy going out a few times per month. However, staying in and cooking a meal together while sharing engaging conversation and a glass of wine is as good as it gets. One of the things I have learned is that the "little" things in life are actually the "big" things in life. Yes, simplicity is certainly underrated. Although my preference is casual attire, I polish up very nicely and have the poise and manners to match. These are just a few of my faves and preferences. I would love to hear about yours as well.

Mon idée du fun

Even the most boring, mundane event is fun and exciting when shared with that someone special. However, I do very much enjoy outdoor activities, including cultural arts/crafts exhibits and fairs, farmers markets. Any live entertainment is most enjoyable, especially if there is music in the mix. I also enjoy walking/jogging. I have a variety of interests...these are just a few favorites. I'm always open to trying something new.

My ideal match is active, fun-loving, enjoys social activities, and possesses a great sense of humor as well as an open mind. His Christian faith defines his character. He makes me laugh and easily laughs at himself as well. His ability to be direct, open, honest, and easily expressive is a plus as well, in order to promote excellent communication. Since true wealth is found within a man's character, I am not easily impressed with material wealth and find arrogance to be the ultimate turn-off.
And please, no more than a 10 year age difference.
