I am originally from Oregon and moved to Boulder to go to CU. After I graduated I decided to stay because the area suits my active and healthy lifestyle. (I'm a competitive road and mountain bike racer. I also run, weightlift, play basketball, and hike.) So, I'm a guy who lives in the Boulder area who likes to exercise and be outdoors, what a surprise. I also like to salsa and swing dance. I'm always up for going out to the movies and enjoy all genres, especially science fiction. I enjoy cooking, if it's not just for me; otherwise it's just the basics. I also like working with kids, which is why I teach. I'm also a licensed personal trainer.

In addition to what I like, here's my best to convey what I am like. I know when to plan for the future, but I live in the moment. I'm cool in stressful situations. I'm comfortable with who I am, so what you see is what you get. I am practical and not about materialism.I'm a jeans and t-shirt type of guy, but I know how to dress for the occasion. I value my friends, family, and relationships. I'm independent and tend to do things not because it's what everyone else is doing. Case in point: check out my shorts. The shorts down to the knees trend has got to go. You might as well just wear long pants. I'll be glad when that trend goes the way of the bellbottom, and it will be laughed at equally as hard.

I am always open minded when meeting someone new. I am attracted to women who enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Of course, it is important to share some common interests with your significant other, but it's also okay to have interests outside your relationship.
