I'm a decent, hardworking, loving, affectionate, generous, attractive, well educated, and emotionally available man. I've been a divorced full time single dad since my two sons were 11 and 13-years-old. They are 21 and 23 now. I am truly sensitive to the challenges faced by women in raising their kids on their own. Also, I am well educated, intelligent, emotionally available, witty, have a sense of humor, a bit of a wise guy at times, and someone who loves a good, hard, belly laugh. I believe that laughter is good for the mind, body, and spirit. When it comes to professional, academic, and personal growth opportunities, I am very serious, although still look for humor and laughter, even in these contexts when it appears. While I take these things seriously, I have learned in life that it does not pay to take oneself too seriously. I think it’s important to be able to laugh at one’s self. At a very basic level, I strive daily to live by the golden rule: “Treat others as you would want them to treat you.” There are many things I like to do, but like many people, I have not always taken or made the time to these things. I like movies. In this regard I like science fiction, action-adventure, the recent movies based on comic book characters, and historical dramas, as well as comedies, although I wouldn’t rule out any particular genre. I like working out and being active, which includes going to the gym, running, and weights for muscle toning, as well as walking or hiking in the Metroparks. I like to travel, and have been to many places in the U.S., but there are still many places within our borders, and beyond I haven’t been to, and would like to visit.
