I am a romantic person, but I try not to be celestial or lofty about my love expectations ~ no preconceptions ~ unreasonable expectations ~ or extreme fantasies. Describing me to other is not difficult for me to do, but I would much rather a person filter their own thoughts and understand me the way they see me.
The window dressing that we digest wading through the profiles are mainly descriptions of our better self or the self we want others to believe, I would much rather show my pimples and blemishes and talk about the real me, but whose trying to be that honest in any introduction?
I am a principled man, a honest man, I have my virtues, even some vices, but most of all I am compassionate, tolerant, and empathetic ~ some people would argue that my humor is what they find most delightful in me.
But I still say that everyone must find their own truths in any relationship ~ the fact is, you really don’t know the truth until you get to know an individual, because each of our truths are unique to us ~ no one looks at any thing exactly alike. None of us are perfect, so I always begin with that fact ~ if you want to believe that you’re perfect, then I can’t be that man for you.
