I am a teacher working with at-risk youth.
I enjoy spending time with my family & friends and value the moments big and small.
I have a dog and a cat so I am hoping for a man who loves animals.
I have a pool and spend time in the summer swimming, bbq, and having get-togethers.

I have eclectic taste in music.
I find humor in almost any situation and tend to have a sarcastic sense of humor.

I enjoy travel A LOT, have been to Africa, Europe, and Japan and plan to do more (with someone special).

I am financially secure and am not looking for a man to take care of me in that way (I won’t ask you for money).
I play hockey (fall/winter/spring) and softball (summer)
I care about social issues A LOT and do my best to make sure that I promote equality for all.
My favorite place is the ocean... so peaceful.
I am honest, authentic, tenacious, adventuresome, financially responsible, humble, intelligent, caring, spontaneous, respectful of other opinions,
I LOVE Children and if you have some it is my hope that you see and take care of them (emotionally, financially).
This summer I plan to focus a bit on photography and learning to play the electric guitar that one of my students is hand-making for me.
I care about my health and exercise as often as possible I go to the gym 3x per week and walk my dog for an hour almost daily.
I have been in a wheelchair for the past 7 years, it doesn't define me but it has certainly made me a stronger, more tenacious person.
If you can't deal with someone who has a great deal of inner strength and a zest for life, then please don't waste my time or yours. I enjoy life to the fullest.

My idea of a fun day can be anything from bowling to going to the park to the ocean, staying indoors in a rainy day and cuddling while watching movies, going for a drive, getting out there and exploring.
