I am the best and worst of both. I kept the boy inside, the one who always got detention in elementary school for peeking into the girls locker room. I am the best there is because I still know why I did.
I am the worst at simple things, I fumble, I foil, I make excuses and on occasion. Yet, I am the best man one can be when it comes to really knowing what's truly important at times that shall be in the future. I am the worst at planning, I can never seem to find my car keys.
Yet I am the best there is cause you just might find on any given friday morning, packing your bags and stealing you away for a week end in the woods in a cozy cabin, just the two of us.
I am the worst at being patient, I hate to wait on other people to get things done. I curse, I'm brash and even I get flustered. Yet, I am the best there can be when it comes to demonstrating that you are the singularity of my existence. The air I breathe, the coffee I fix at 5 in the morning.
I am the worst there is at waiting for the right moment. I tell you my feelings at the super market. I buy silly non-essentials because I like the idea that you will love it. Yet you don't, you actually hate the trinkets. Yet, I am the best there ever was because I know the difference between a half carrot and three.
And as to the rest, well, I just haven't figured it out yet.
