I am a 46 year old healthy, active guy who looks and feels much younger.
I was raised in Long Beach, CA and am laid back and like drama free good times and good vibes (not a hippie type buy was a Surfer back in the days)
Black woman loved me in California butbhavd had little to no luck meeting or dating black women in the ATX.
I am looking for a sweet, laid back black woman for friendship, dating and hopefully love.
I was married young so my daughters are already out of the house.
But I'm OK with dating a woman with children bit I am not looking to have anymore myself
Age, looks and body type are less important to me than intelligence, self confidence, sense of humor, light-heartedness, playlyful acting and general happiness.
I have happily dated super tiny woman but also completely enjoyed dating a full figured woman.
But active is important.
I don't live on the lake or spend all my time in nature but I also don't watch TV or vegetate on a couch all night.
I have been talked into watching a favorite show with someone though.
Because it made them happy.
I completely believe that each person in a relationship should be open to tying and doing things with their girlfriend/boyfriend even if they normally would not be into or even can't stand whatever the activity is.
Because both people need to be fulfilled in life to actually be happy.
I love music and listen to it constantly either with earbuds or on a speaker when with another.
I am super open minded with musical selection of every type besides country.
It literally makes me ill.
My favorite music would definitely include dr. Dre Snoop Dogg era rap, nu metal (korn, slipknot) and even death metal (Jinjer, otep, slayer) but I also really like most r&b, all styles of hip-hop and some pop. LOVE trance, house and dubb step too!!) Can listen to reggae, jazz and blues if that is something you dig but wouldn't choose those types for myself.
I also appreciate most classical and even opera.
I love going out to eat to interesting and worldly restaurants.
Especially accompanied by a nice woman to enjoy the experience with.
My favorites are Indian, pho, soul food, texmex, Italian, Brazilian and Cuban.
But have enjoyed Ethiopian, Indonesian, Korean and more.
Big fan of awesome burgers and amazing BBQ

I love sex and find it to be very important to a relationships success.
But I am not a fan of first date flings or rushing it.
I believe it should happen organically and without and pressure being put on it.
I was raised Baptist but converted to catholic as an adult and was even a teen youth minister for 2 years.
I completely respect anyone's right to worship any thing they want or nothing at all.
But as of 5 years ago I removed all religion and political affiliations from my life and have never been less stressed or happier in my entire life.
Not to say I don't follow a basic moral code because I do.
Just for myself and my girls not for a God or church that I don't truly believe in and really never did.
Same goes with cheating, stealing etc
I don't do those things because they feel wrong and that's enough for me.
I am a General Contractor and owner of a small Handyman service and a seperate remodeling company and have happily done this for a living for the past 10 years.
I love what I do so enjoy most days at work which helps me to stay in a generally happy place most of the time.
I don't know exactly what it is about black woman that I am so attracted by and drawn to but I have felt that was since I was a young boy.
I' am not rushing to get married but absolutely see a long term live in relationship with a black woman being the only possible path to longterm happiness at this point in my life.
I would be open to marriage at some point with the right woman.
