I am an old fashioned girl at heart, in that I like to feel protected by the man I am with. I am a millennium girl as well, in that I have a career and am independent.

On most nights I spend time with family or cuddle up with a good romance or suspense novel. I love to shop, but I am fiscally responsible. I work out a few times a week, but I am not a fanatic. It is my hope that the special someone who finds me can connect with me on every level. Physical attraction is very important to me, but it is not enough to keep a relationship together. I want someone that I can get to know and who wants to know me. Someone who wants to take it one step at a time to see where the initial attraction can lead; Someone who is not afraid or opposed to a long term relationship if the connection is there; Someone who is not afraid or opposed to possibly being friends if it isn't. This person has to be honest, mature, sincere, have a great sense of humor, and independent (we have absolutely nothing in common if you live with your parents). I have always been attracted to different ethnicities/races, though I have never dated outside of my race. Race is not important, rather, it is compatibility and a true connection that matters.
