I Would Describe Myself As

Newly divorced, was married for 32 years and now I am not. I thought marriage was forever. Wow. I found it difficult writing about myself but once you start...I have been told by friends that I am the one person you would want to have in your corner. I am kind and compassionate, loyal, faithful and fun, and yet, not a puppy. I have the patience of Job, and have been known to kick a dead horse and say “are you dead horse, well alrighty then, time to move on, just checking to make sure you were really dead.” I love to smile and laugh. I feel that you can find joy in just about everything. I am a very passionate person, just a romantic at heart who enjoys candlelit dinners, lunches, breakfasts, you name it I like candles. I enjoy reading (so many books, so little time), cooking, sewing and quilting, taking long walks and holding hands, snuggling and cuddling by the fire is also very nice. My favorite new passion is teaching Zumba! My students are awesome; they inspire me as much as I inspire them. I love making a difference. My children are grown, happy and successful; they each have a great sense of self. I am very proud for what I have given them. It is time to take care of me. I am a work in progress and am getting to know me better.
